(10,818 posts)One of my in-laws was resistant to taking the vaccine, stating she "didn't trust the government". Apparently her desire to keep her job was more important, and therefore she's now fully vaccinated. She works food service in the hospital. My wife in the lab though - wanted first in line.
As an aside my youngest son will be getting an interesting birthday present - his first Covid vaccine on his 12th birthday.
There are cases for exceptions - one guy got Covid.... Then later on took the first dose of a vaccine and got a horrible reaction to it. That kind of exception I support. I gotten to the point that if you're eligible for the vaccine (and have no medical reason not to take it) and choose not to take it then you're a fucking idiot. I want to say that on Faceplant but that will alienate some people.
