Far removed from NYC, at the opposite side of the state, the Buffalo area (Erie County) recorded 198 new cases on Friday and has moved up from the CDC "substantial" category of infection to "high risk."

I am in a nearby county where people travel daily to Buffalo and back. Within a few weeks after Buffalo went from moderate to substantial, so did we. My area is averaging 20 new cases a day now. In a few weeks, we will also likely move up from substantial to high.

Still very few masks around here. School opens soon.
