72. Vaxxed. Now dead from covid. [View all]
It only took 2 days once she realized she was sick. She decided against the vent. It has been a couple days since she died. Her son in law called me today. I had left message earlier in the week concerned since my friend no answer 2 days.
This lady was careful. Double mask when out. Vaxx. No eat out. No gatherings indoors. The family all thought they were safe and had an outdoor picnic. Great grandson napped in her arms awhile during. When she came down sick they all tested. It is thought dad brought it home from work and the boy passed it to grandma. All kids in that family tested positive. All over 12 vaxxed.
They let the guard down outside and unmasked enjoyed family. Her son in law said she told her daughter no regrets.
I post this because school is starting everywhere. Just like regular flu season, kids tend to be the spread point. Please keep your family safe. Mask up with family. Go back to throwing a sheet over grandparents for hugs. If you don't live in the same house mind the masking.
I know the stats all over say a lot, but this is a personal story illustrating. Please be safe.
Editing to add. Some are taking this post as an anti vax post. It is not. GET VAXXED. Also MASK. Also keep a distance. Also wash your hands. Use all the tools available. LIVE. Live your life. Just be mindful. It is too soon to let the guard down.
I will say again. GET VAXXED. It is the best tool in the drawer.
