stood at Stanford with a sign defending the privilege of the upper class. While he was a vocal supporter of the war, the counter-protest sign was in support of the change in DoD policy extending draft deferments on test scores and not limiting the number to particular institutions.

So his one example of protesting is to ensure that he extended a benefit to himself. The individuals in the initial protest which prompted Romney to the counter-protest were jeopardizing their own deferments and essentially protesting against their best interests (for those who were students at Stanford).

How anyone in the military can vote for this man is entirely beyond me.
