I saw a movie about something like that when I was hitting puberty, it made quite an impression as I was in fear of being raped by my father, a pedophile, and getting pregnant. I wondered if I would kill myself if that happened, I had already, at that time, decided that if he raped me I would kill him.

It was a scary prospect being a young woman before Roe v Wade.
