(26,724 posts)the things that he has already accomplished in the few months that he's been in office.
There was NO vaccination program in place when Biden took office. He created one and got vaccines out to millions of people. He had No briefings during the transition but assessed the situation in Afghanistan and made the hard decisions necessary to get us out of the mess that Bush/Cheney created 20 years ago and that Trump made worse. He supervised the successful evacuation of thousands of people in the largest airlift in history.
He took office during an attempted coup and set a tone of courage just by taking the oath of office outdoors as customary in DC.
He has appointed the most diverse staff and cabinet in US history.
He has a vision of diplomacy instead of war, but does not hesitate to use weapons when necessary. He is taking a firm stand against the MIC. (The last president to do that died in office.)
Those accomplishments in just 7 1/2 months put him in the great category. There are more that I have not mentioned. Imagine what else he can accomplish during the rest of his term.
