(19,951 posts)That answer might be more useful than continuing to spew hatred every day toward progressives because they expect to be treated as part of the party...because we are.
I voted for Clinton, I voted for Biden...and yet, every day there's a flood of hatred directed at people like me, simply because we believe that we can do better than the status quo. That change would be a good thing, you know, progress.
So, maybe looking at the reasons people so easily turned from the Democratic party would be instructive.
I'm doing that, within my county party.
Of course, most threads like this are quickly swarmed by the usual suspects who seem to see denigrating a segment of the party as some kind of vocation.
NOTE: I am not a fan of Susan Sarandon, nor am I defending her, but at some point, we have to put on our big kid pants and move forward instead of forever looking backward.
