Is he so desperate for money now he's having to do this? I think so. Him claiming he was paid a lot to do this is usually a lie, and his projection of this for PR is his typical tactic. He'll be pleading for money to save the country, which will be another lie, is coming. He's losing donors, and supporters, and lots of money.
