69. When they were alive? No. They were Eisenhower Republicans and voted for Nixon.

They both died before Reagan although I'm certain they would have voted for him. I don't think they would have voted for Bush if they had been alive then or Romney today. Although they were anti-communist and pro capitalist, they weren't pro-war and they were for civil rights for African Americans. They would not have approved of torture nor were they bigoted against different races, ethnicities and religions. They would have been shocked at the Muslim bashing that is popular today. I'm sure they would be shocked at the crazy that has taken over the GOP. I voted for the Democratic candidate in every election ever since I was old enough to vote and they knew about it but weren't really upset about it nor were they upset when I joined a union. My dad knew it was the way to go if you were part of the working class. He just would have preferred to see me aspire to management.
