An occasional right after payday treat. If you lived in Hillcrest and North Park, there's a couple high end wine, cheese, and local produce and butcher "bodegas" scattered around the various gentrified communities. Not to mention the IGAs that are scattered around the working communities.
Barron's is a great local grocery chain organic produce for regular grocery store prices (without coupons prices). Very much like the old Henry's before they got bought out.
