24. It's unfortunate. So many small funeral homes

have been bought up by major funeral companies that small-town or local ownership is just about gone. It's all just business for the news people in the industry, I guess.

When I discovered just how unconcerned and uncaring the one I had to use was, I shifted into "all-business" mode and got done what needed to be done. It all left a very bad taste in my mouth, though.
