We quit broadcast television a little later.

We never run out of stuff to watch and best of all -- NO COMMERCIALS!

Mostly we watch Netflix which is $8.99 a month.

Conversing with my adult children, nephews, and nieces it seems that cable and broadcast television doesn't exist in their universe.

I think traditional television is trying to squeeze more and more from a diminishing population of viewers, in terms of subscription costs, and in eyeballs for their advertising.
