... who kept feeding feral cats.... and they kept breeding, and breeding. Crapping everywhere, spraying everywhere. It was a real nuisance. And obviously, NONE of them were vaccinated. Just living "wild" lives and not having to worry much about finding food or predation.
People tried to talk to her and reason with her... explaining the dangers and risks and health hazards (to her AND the community AND other animals) but she didn't care, or didn't understand.
After she died, the feeding stopped (obviously) and some of the animals moved on (or died). Others continued to hang around, but they were trapped by Prince George's County animal control. The older "wild" ones were euthanized and they tried to rehabilitate the younger ones for possible adoption.
