Does it really surprise anyone that this was orchestrated by the party that had outed Valerie Plame and the 90+ covert agents working under her, and wrecking a CIA front company, all dedicated to assessing the weapons infrastructures of Iraq and Iran? Does it really surprise anyone this was carried out by the very same party that just seriously damaged the funding of a non-partisan soup kitchen funding for the sake of a photo op? Does it really surprise anyone that this is the result of a racist and selfish party that had grounded rescue choppers right after Hurricane Katrina for, once again, the sake of a photo op, and had commandeered an entire Red Cross aid station in Louisiana for eight hours, all for a photo op? Does it really surprise anyone that this scorched-earth strategy was hatched by a party that time and again has shut down the government with one temper tantrum after another,the consequences be damned?
