that when we had momentum to do something about this people decided we should take the same failed steps we've been taking for decades. All because they couldn't parse the true meaning of three words. Yet, all the while being able to suss out the reality of nearly any other topic. Now the powers that be are free to resume business as usual. The significance of any given outrage fading more and more until folks simply can't be bothered about it anymore.
