When you witness stupidity live, you appreciate the fact they muted the ability to speak and shut off video to the audience.

Set the scene: HR Manager meeting providing updates to non HR staff regarding Biden’s vaccine requirement for our company.

They did allow live chat questions after they shared that they will be requiring vaccination status to be submitted by all employees. Vaccines strongly recommended. If you don’t get vaccine then you will need to submit weekly COVID tests before allowed on campus. Masks required for all employees no matter of your vaccine status if on campus.

Questions in chat:

1. Where do I submit my religious or medical exemption? I would be shocked if that person crossed the threshold of a church prior to COVID or went to a dr in last 12 months.

2. The vaccine was “not” approved by FDA. Referenced a website proving their “fact”.

3. Are you paying for COVID tests of unvaccinated?

4. That’s a HIPAA violation for asking for my status.

5. They made the vaccine with aborted babies.

6. Are you going to fire people for non compliance?

Proud to work for a company from day 1 implemented xtra PTO for COVID impacted ees. Got 99.9 percent of ees set up to work from home. Paid 100 percent medical if impacted with COVID. I’m one of the lucky people afforded ability to work from home.

Company is now slightly dropping a hammer with more to come. No longer giving extra PTO and paying medical related expenses if not vaccinated. Writing on wall we will need to be vaccinated or be terminated. They haven’t gone there yet but I see it coming.

My company is basing their decisions on Federal mandates and CDC guidelines.

To those asking stupid questions on the call, your freedom is not being taken away. The safety of employees and continuity of the org to meet the needs of our customers is what is affording us freedom now and into the future.
