10. Halloween has paled in my neighborhood in the last few years

Last year, there were hardly any porch lights on. And I expect the same this year. I haven’t given out candy in years. I got tired of all of the adults coming to the door without any costume.

I think most of the schools in the area host trunk or treat and most kids do that nowadays around here.
