16. At the very least, they're despicable human beings

It's as if they were trying to throw every roadblock possible into the investigation.

I love my kids with all my heart, but if one of them went on an extended trip with another person, and then came home with that person's vehicle, but without the person, I'd be demanding answers.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I raised my kids to know that they were going to be held accountable for their actions. I'll love them no matter what, but if I found out one was a monster, I would have to do the right thing.
