239. Hmmmm. Are you talking about the passage in the Old Testament, Exodus 35:2?....

...The passage states, “For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD . Whoever does any work on it must be put to death”? Is that the passage to which you're referring?

If so, then you probably also know this passage is not taken literally by anyone these days but the most extreme believers, since it went out of favor with the decline of the rabbinical bet din court system in roughly the 3rd century AD.

Those who do take this passage seriously to the point of killing someone for working on the Sabbath are indeed on the very extreme edges of the Judeo/Christian belief system.

So, tell me again about Judeo/Christian religions being as extreme as the Mormon cult. What else you got?
