I still get messages from about half of them, but the messages are decidedly less frequent and decidedly less over-the-top. They are still angry and hate-filled, but they just don't have the 24x7 passion that they showed before.

And the worst one of the whole lot is actually an old friend. He seems to have abruptly stopped talking about politics. We still correspond about sports.

Mine is a small sample, but I think there may be something here.

I did hear from one of the other regular offenders this AM. He sent some nonsensical email that tried to associate Obama with 100 notorious figures. It was your basic "6 degrees of Kevin Bacon" stuff. I had a good laugh at that one.
