Name one DUer who railed against drone strikes under Bush who supports them under Obama.

One of the things I noticed when Bush was President was that generic anti-war OPs could get a hundred comments from half a dozen of the same people every time. While the rest of DU pretty much ignored it.

I believe on this subject you encountered the same problem that racists encounter. 99% of the time nobody wants to confront the racist. So 99% of the time he believes everyone agrees with him. When confronted he rejoins, "most people agree with me, but they are just too political correct to say it." He sincerely believes that.

So DU ignored your anti-war posts. Not because we agreed. But because they didn't particularly want to defend Bush even when they agreed with the idiot. And didn't care enough to make the exception on this issue. Same issue for a President we like and some of us will make the argument.

They didn't change their position. They just started articulating it finally.
