However, it's an odd case in many ways. Personally, I think he's guilty of manslaughter in some degree or another. I'm sure there will be jurors who think the same. Still, there are bound to be some jurors who think what he did was justified for one reason or another. So, I think it's likely there will be an impasse that makes it impossible to get all 12 to vote for either thing.

The politics of it, along with the mood of the country, seem to guarantee that there will not be a consensus, and a consensus is absolutely required of a criminal jury.
