To my mind all of the hit pieces on VP Harris this weekend might have been the opening salvos of the 2024 campaign. They were launched by somebody.
Joe Biden's my man. I thought he was the only Democrat who could defeat Mr. Orange. But 2022 doesn't look great. The hightwater mark of his first term.
Will he really be interested in a second term. Even if only BBB is the last major piece of legislation he will have accomplished a lot. He saved the economy, passed the first infrastructure bill in decades, signed all the programs in the BBB into law and I even bet Covid will be brought under control while he is President. It will be quite a record. He's no kid. So maybe he thinks he will have accomplished what he set out to do.
I acknowledge he might feel that he has to protect us from the ass clown and decide to run again, but the country and the party can make demands on him. He's been too good.
I guess we will find out.
