Maybe the bigger question is, which right-wing nut would want to try to take Trump's place? And which one of those is electable? And if Trump wasn't around to intimidate and deprecate the remainder of the opportunistic Big Lie propagators, they might change strategies. The politicians know Trump is FOS and would love to see him gone but I suppose they need Trump's base, so maybe whoever is as deranged as Trump, like MTG, would win the cigar...

It's an interesting scenario to think about.
