31. Wild Turkeys are smart. And vengeful.

Back during his previous marriage, Laz and his ex ran the only pizza place in their small, rural county seat town. So they did a lot of deliveries out in the country. One night, she was the back-up driver and got stopped on one of those county roads out in the middle of nowhere by a flock of about half a dozen wild turkeys. She got out to shoo them out of her way and left the door open.
When she got back in, she hadn't noticed that the Tom had gotten in and was waiting for her, pissed, in the back seat. She ended up leaving him in the car and called the cops to get him out of their car. What was left of the pizza,of course,was pretty much scattered all over the ripped up car by the time the cops got there and opened a back door. The ex and the cops stayed in the cruiser until the tom went back into the brush, some time later.

Do not challenge a wild turkey. They will mess you up.
