What you're really paying for with the RAV4 Prime is the incredible PHEV powertrain with AWD. Its powertrain is completely different from the regular gutless RAV4. But that incredible PHEV powertrain is a little hard to justify at the $50k MSRP, let alone the jacked up $96k.
