(8,312 posts)But it can be almost painful to read how someone else spent more than 10 times what you might have last spent on your one owned item of said clothing type, especially when you know exactly how you'd put that extra $200 saved to survival -- if you had an extra $200.
I mean, I'm happy that you have it to spend. Not equating $230 to test out one company and hope you're paying American workers by doing so with buying a private jet. But in a way it's almost easier for people looking at the first of the month with trepidation to get upset at smaller numbers, because smaller numbers are easier to think about having/spending -- and most of us have never had the money for a private jet in our hot little hands.
Anyway, much love, and I DO hope you aren't disappointed in the jeans. Or if "$230 jeans" becomes the new "breastfeeding at Olive Garden" controversy thread joke should others be less restrained in their response.
