I guess it depends on the monarch....

UK isn't bad because it isn't really a monarchy. Looks like parliament runs the show over there.

I'm sure there are a few really bad monarchies left in the world, but I just can't think of any.

I would think a parliament would be better, but then I look at Israel and they're pretty messed up.
