In reply to the discussion: Tell Kansas Republican Speaker who prayed for the President's death to resign [View all]John Lee
(12 posts)18. My Point is-
My point is, there is no good reason to abridge his right for saying this, for trying to punish him for exercising his rights, even if he uses his rights to send hateful messages, and the people of Kansas have the right to vote him in or out, according to their own opinion. If they did not want him, they have the right to vote him out. Not everyone is a Liberal, a Progressive, not everyone agrees with you. If the people in Kansas agree with him, they have the right to keep him in office, if you disagree with him, then you are more than welcomed to do so. I disagree with him, but I do not think he should lose his job over spreading this e-mail, and I do not think he should be punished for exercising his liberty.

I'm also free to work with people to get him out of office. Condemning his statements

And as a lover of Liberty, you have no business essentially trying to sack a guy...

Right. We are just trying to get support for the people to kick O'Neal's ass out of office.

He can say whatever he wants. He is an elected representative and accountable to the electorate.

What in the world? Sounds like something the Secret Service needs to address.
