22. Manchin has always been a conservative, but he wasn't a "problem" until this session

The last time, we had majority, we had 53 Democrats in the Senate, so his leanings were irrelevant.

People complained about it, but there wasn't a mass effort to get rid of him.

The solution is to elect more Democrats to the senate
