(5,340 posts)33. But with a really good N95 and full shots, why worry about standing 6' away?
Of course I'll avoid blatant plague rats, but a big part of wearing a proper protective respirator for me is the ability to not worry about being close to the maskless fat White trash wearing a MAGA hat while coughing freely...I trust in 3M as my "fortress walls" and Moderna as my "wall-mounted archers" - at some point we need to accept we have good defenses and move freely.
Then again, I live in a grossly Blue area so I meet very few plague rats.

Their recommendations are better than nothing, but not as good as respirators.

we use these, they are FFP2 (the EU equivalent of N95) and made in Modena, Italy
