I recall reading about how when he was in the statehouse, he would spend the week there and only return on weekends.

I have BEEN "that wife".. My husband used to leave on Monday and return on Friday , because his job entailed travel.

Any wife (like I was, and Michelle was) with little kids & an absent Dad has probably had "issues".

She was very capable of supporting herself during that time frame, so there may well have been times when they may have talked about splitting up..

BUT....THEY DID NOT..

Sorry Trump..No big deal
