Most of the tests on masks have been garbage because they don't distinguish between mask composition, fit, and consistency of wearing masks.

The ones which do suggest that gap-free multi-layer masks (especially different weave), consistently worn are roughly as effective as the J&J vaccine. So on top of pfizer x 3, as to Delta, I'm pretty comfortable with my level of protection.

Now that Omicron as joined the mix, I'm bumping up my mask protection to KN94. It is so much more transmissible - largely because it requries less of it to infect you - that I need to filter out more of it.
