All the pettifogging, subject sliding, banging on the table in lieu of facts, etc will not change that simple fact.

The first poster (who in the past made a similar false claim about AT&T owning Verizon) made a false claim, and the poster you replied to corrected it.

Nothing more, nothing less.

People are entitled to their own opinions but not their own facts.

I shall not stand by, when I see falsehoods being posted, and allow them to go unchallenged. I understand that my stance on this makes some here quite unhappy and at times combative. I cannot help that, nor will I change my modus operandi.
