(63,221 posts)are thinking about this is the way the general voting public is perceiving this. Particularly Dems and Independents. It is LOOKING like Garland and the DOJ are doing nothing, regardless of what might be going on behind the scenes. It doesn't look like our side is doing enough to right this wrong. The average voter out there is not paying attention to politics the way the most dedicated person here is. They are only seeing that nothing is happening.
That is going to be highly demoralizing to many voters in the next election and between that and Republican outright fraud and cheating, we are going to lose. And then it will be over. I hate to bring doom and gloom to this board, but I honestly believe that is what we are looking at. The sooner we realize it, my hope is that we will snap out of our complacency and use every weapon in our arsenal to stop these bastards from destroying our democracy.
And I mean everything. I don't care if it's not all completely above board at this point. This is a crisis and we need to take action. We need to stop them any way we can.
