30. I didn't know Osteen was one of hers

I don't feel as strongly as you do about her, but I'm not a fan. She definitely has a holier-than-thou attitude, imho. Her absolute scorn for romance novels really ticked me off. Is there something bad about a story with a happy ending? Or depiction of loving sex? Or enjoyment for enjoyment's sake?

I loved the old Donahue show. Some shows were better than others, but the good ones were really great. The details are very sketchy now because the show was so long ago, but I remember him asking a prominent scientist about the existence of a god. As I recall, the scientist's answers was "If you want to define God as that which existed before the Big Bang, I have no problem with that." As an agnostic, I found that insightful and very helpful to my own thinking.
