One might say she was "everybody's 'girl'." A genuine "America's Sweetheart."
I worked in entertainment coverage for years. Never heard a single word about her that wasn't complimentary at the least, and almost literally adoring at the most.

She was genuinely anti-racism and supported Obama big time. She also stood up for black actors
