Maybe I'll live long enough to see a New Year's Eve with optimism [View all]

My lifetime has only had them with fear and revulsion. The overwhelming reality that the next year and the next year will all be worse and more disgusting than the previous.

I'll stay healthy maybe one day it will happen, but I doubt it.
