The bright side is your family will be super immunized from Covid. Studies show a combo of vaccines, boosters, followed by infection leads to about as much immunity as you can get. Remember the vaccine and booster does prevent infection in some people so certainly you and son can be negative while husband is positive.

Was reading that using the swab in the throat is more accurate than nose for Omicron.
