I mean, this was about commemorating, and to an extent morning, the damage done to our institutions and our democracy on January 6th

Like, if one of your family members was murdered, would you want the killer to show up at their memorial service? No, of course not! The perpetrators of a crime have no business pretending to console the grief of those they've harmed. There's exactly two Republicans who have a right to be depression when we take a moment to meditate on the threats to democracy. And they probably have committee work to do.
