10. I disagree, with respect.

They've gotten louder, and because they have been so powerful for so long they can control the megaphone for the time being, but in the long game they are losing to modernity.

They are sputtering out like a dying supernova, though at this point they look awfully big.

In my dealings with the younger generations I see more and more awareness of, and distaste for, the inequalities between the sexes.

It may take another twenty generations but the patriarchy will eventually lose its grip and parity will emerge.
