Some of the posts on this thread are truly embarrassing to be coming from liberal democrats. I generally assumed that most here were liberal and/or democrats. This is sort of thing rightist scum point to when they say we are "jealous of success". I thought many despised Sanders because he had the temerity to challenge presidential candidates when it was their turn. Looks like some are also envious of an 80-year-old who, late in life, achieved success.

The bulk of what put him over the "millionaire" status was a book deal, and inherited real estate.

And, on the original topic, impoverished people have shorter lifespans than billionaires and even the contentedly wealthy. For a variety of reasons that are often discussed here. It's a shame that hatred of Sanders has blinded some to fact.
