44. I noticed he was being more open to just being himself about 3 years ago.

That's when I stopped watching. There is apparently someone in his regular circle of acquaintances who whispers in his ear, "you are the smartest in the room, flaunt it". He is under a lot of internal pressure to be sophisticated.
