14. They aren't - especially at shitty corporations.

I always just give a neutral-to-good survey at my place of work. I’ve heard of people being fired for writing even innocent, slightly negative reviews.

I think the surveys are used to show others how great a place is - especially if it’s a garbage work environment. It’s a Saddam Hussein style, “give us your opinion as we watch over your shoulder” kind of thing.

These are not anonymous, and can probably be used against you.
