Prediction (re: Manchin and Sinema and SCOTUS) [View all]

They are going to inevitably be asked about their support for a potential SCOTUS pick by Biden. They will probably say some formulation of being willing to consider whoever he nominates but refrain from unequivocally and unconditionally supporting anybody until they see who it is and "careful review of their record" before announcing their vote. In other words, they won't be outwardly obstructionist but won't pledge their unconditional support either. In short, until the hearings start and the nomination proceeds to a vote, we won't really know where they will stand on a final vote. Take it to the bank.
