6. DNA is nature's method of encoding information

So yeah, it's theoretically possible to create a way to translate computer language to genetic language and put that information in parts of the mouse's genome that don't have a gene that is expressed (because if you put that information in a part of the genome that is expressed, it may be fatal to the mouse).

The problem I see is that genetics is prone to error and the information you are trying to store is going to degrade over time.

The only reason to do this that I can see is to create a method to smuggle money or keep it off the books.
