I’m sorry I don’t remember the source, but the gist of the speculation was that every time Trump seemed to be on the verge of getting indicted, he skated. The incident I remember was the money laundering at his NJ casino. He was let off the hook with a fine of $15 million. He has paid many fines over the years, including for his fraudulent charity. He committed fraud. Why was that a civil issue and not criminal? Cyrus Vance had lots of information on criminal behavior in Mew York before Trump became president. Why was he not prosecuted for fraud then. It seemed to be an open secret that he was committing insurance and tax fraud.
