In reply to the discussion: I sincerely hope that when they end mask mandates that I will still have the right to wear my mask [View all]Ms. Toad
(38,090 posts)51. Good luck with that . . .
Back in May/June when the CDC, with a wink and nod, said no one needed to wear masks anymore - I got yelled at because I was wearing my mask walking from my car into work. (It's just easier to wear it than to carry it, stop at the door, dig it out, and don it before I enter). I'm not really expecting it to be any different this time.
(Nor am I expecting the CDC to wait until it is truly reasonable to issue the same stupid directive this time.)

OP
Banks and other financial institutions would rarely deny mask-wearers even before COVID.

Sure you salute them but obviously expect them to wait in line being vulnerable just to be "fair"

I wore a mask for years before Covid! No one ever gave me any crap before the pandemic, but

Me, too! And I do drive through banking now instead of inside. It's so easy and nice.

Everyone has the right to wear masks if they choose to, and anyone telling you otherwise can

When I go into any public building (including roadside rests), I always wear a mask.

Our water heater gave out and leaked, so we had to have a crew in to fix the damage. Masks? Yes.

I am still wearing a mask and have no plans yet to stop even as I am vaxxed and boosted.
