"Trucker Tantrum"

23. They are coming my way this weekend.

I do not live in Buffalo, but in a nearby small city.

Yesterday the Buffalo NPR station reported that a truck convoy is headed to Buffalo from NYC and areas around the US side of the Great Lakes. They plan on a "support rally" to block access from the US side to the Peace Bridge between NY state and Ontario.

This is the main bridge crossing for truckers in this area, and the 3rd largest Canadian/American crossing in the country. It is the route that people take to Niagara Falls. It is also the crossing point for people who cross daily between the two countries for work on the other side.

This is NOT about vaccine mandates. This is about deliberate disruption of economies in the US and Canada, who both have liberal leaders in office.

It is also about deliberately provoking violence. They want the left to respond. So, how do we respond without violence?

I think we should blast them with very LOUD recorded laughter. Nothing hurts these self-important fools more than being laughed at.

If they really are unvaccinated, it sure would be a shame if they got infected by a vaccinated person who has mild or no symptoms and walks among them shaking hands and hugging them to congratulate them.

(OK, that is a bad fantasy that came out of the lower side of my psyche.)

What would happen if they drove their trucks over a bed of nails?

But blasting laughter really does appeal to me.

Any other ideas?
