We went and talked to a cannabis lawyer...one of the guys who helped craft the legislation.

Really...this is kind of a handout to the big business dispensary owners. The legislation clearly states that the board that will decide whether someone gets their pot license (the equivalent of a liquor license) will use as their primary consideration whether or not you already own a dispensary or major licensed grow.

It's a way for the big guys to get in first and squeeze out any little guy looking to get into the game.

I did vote for it...but I was holding my nose when I did.

Plus...he didn't think it would pass...even with the current polling.
